ON THE QUESTION OF ORGANIZING THE FUNCTIONING OF THE NATIONAL PAYMENT SYSTEM IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The article is devoted to the issue of the conceptual framework and institutional aspects of the organization of the functioning of the national payment system. Various approaches to the definition of the "national payment system" are described. The necessity of forming a national payment system in the Russian Federation is explained. The current state of the national payment system is described.
