In the article we have considered the lifecycle model of the e-learning course in e-learning systems and electronic educational environment. The lifecycle consists of three stages: course concept development, courseware development, course implementation and use. Each stage contains three phases, all together they describe the complete cycle of development, using and support of the e-learning course.
We have proposed the scheme of the internal structure of the learning object, which separates the learning content from the ways of working with it, which facilitates the design of learning materials, and enables one to use different algorithms for the control of the student's educational path of the course.
The conditions of using the e-learning course for the control system of the learning process in educational environment are considered.
