Modern challenges in the system of public administration in Ukraine

Berezhnyy Vyacheslav   (Kharkiv Regional Institute of Public Administration of National Academy of Public Administration attached to the Office of the President of Ukraine)

Difficulties and challenges in the system of public administration in Ukraine during the process of its modernization are considered. The author emphasizes on the complex of socio-political, socio-economic and socio-cultural risks of modern development. Forenamed risks include: the global financial and economic crisis, socio-political instability, lack of resources and capital, technological backwardness, depopulation, the commercialization of culture, increasing corruption, natural and technological disasters.
