"Parasitic" marketing is a serious threat to the leading producers operating in the market of goods. Companies parasites, not to spend money on promoting their own products or their spending comparatively little, get a significant number of consumers willing to buy the product. At the same time the original company loses its customers, respectively, while low quality fakes bears and reputational loss.
