Forms of public participation in the implementation of territorial public self-government

The article considers the forms of TOS, with the help of which citizens have the opportunity to influence the management of local Affairs and an approach to the classification of forms of public participation in the implementation of territorial public self-government in the Russian Federation. The author actualizes and justifies the ways of improving the use of the statutory forms of local government in practice of territorial bodies of local self-government. The proposed approach aims not only to the transformation of local government with the approval of the rights its beneficiary – associations of citizens, but also directed to the use of best practices and Russian experience in attracting the public to know the issues on the ground.
