The changes that are taking place in modern society demanded rapid improvement of educational space, have been developed for education, taking into account national, social and personal interests and needs. Consequently, one of the priorities is to develop safety culture among schoolchildren through the development of universal educational actions. The article presents the results of research, identified effective methods of formation of universal learning activities of students in the study of man-made disasters.
