This article is devoted to comprehension of statements E. D. Luchezarnogo about Russia and Russians, are presented in the context of the Russian philosophical cosmism. The question is considered from the point of view of genre peculiarities of the text presented in the book "Thoughts and aphorisms", in relation to journalistic presentations of F. M. Dostoevsky in the magazine "writer's Diary". The author comes to the conclusion that to the reader - two revelations of Russia, made at intervals of fourteen decades. They have in common journalistic form of the utterance, its orientation towards the widest circle of readers. Both authors make the domain want to know their innermost thoughts. They are similar in the awareness of the paradoxical nature of the world mission of Russia that is associated with overcoming (in ourselves first, and then around him) the worst side of human nature. Their stylistic manner makes a few times to re-read already read, finding in it all new shades of meaning. However, the way the author presents in the text, is fundamentally different. If Dostoevsky is a writer, the prophet, suffered their gift price painful understanding of the contradictions of life, E. D.
