Approaches to Assessment of Professional Foreign Language Competence in the Context of Higher Education

the article states the importance of assessment of foreign language competence development. The survey of current scientific and theoretical works permits to conclude that emotional intelligence competence is directly related to communicative foreign language competence development, and is of interdisciplinary nature. The study contributed to the conclusion that academics could realize similar approaches to assessment of communicative and emotional competences formation.
