In article the author opens the philosophical and political content of the category "modernization", typology of the principles and models of modernization. Carrying out small digression to historical aspect of transformations of our country, it is possible to note that Uzbekistan appeared in a situation of need of modernization for the objective reasons. Conditions in which modernization began and carried out demanded to capture reforms all parties of activity of society.
