On the issue of working hours and sports regime of professional athletes in the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to the institutions of the working time regime and the sports regime of special subjects of labor law – professional athletes. The author proves the inapplicability of working time regimes provided for by the Labor Code of the Russian Federation to the regulation of athletes' activities. An attempt is made to analyze the legal nature of a specific institution of a sports regime. In conclusion, conclusions are drawn about the need to amend the labor legislation of the Russian Federation.
