Integration processes in the Asia-Pacific region: key features and challenges for Russia

The analysis of the nature of integration processes in the Asia-Pacific region is carried out. The factors of intensification of the integration of states in the region are determined. It is shown that a distinctive feature of integration processes is the growing "systemic fragmentation" and the gradual transition to a multipolar system of the world economy. The conclusion is made about the need for Russia's active participation in integration processes in the region and the country's inclusion in global value chains on a medium- and high-tech basis.
