Development of infrastructure in the conditions of the crisis and import substitution

The article presents the features of the role and place of infrastructure and investment in their development in a crisis and import substitution. It is shown that infrastructure investments can play a key role in overcoming the crisis and the successful implementation of the import substitution strategy, increasing production and counteracting unemployment, as well as increasing the competitiveness of the economy in the long term. In Russia, the crisis has a negative impact when huge infrastructure development programs are being implemented, but, on the other hand, the costs of their implementation have been significantly reduced. The necessity of state support for infrastructure projects and the evaluation of their effectiveness are substantiated.
