SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION: THE EXAMPLE OF SAINT PETERSBURG

This research work focuses on the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) concept aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. These goals are aimed at improving the quality of life and well-being of the population, taking into account both environmental, social and governance aspects. The study is carried out using the example of the application of ESG principles in the development strategies of Russian regions, with an emphasis on the city of St. Petersburg. The work analyzes the results and effectiveness of the implementation of these principles in the context of sustainable development of regional economies and society as a whole.
