MODERN TASKS OF FORECASTING THE PREFERENCES OF FOOD CONSUMERS

the author systematized the theses of foreign and Russian economists on forecasting the preferences of food consumers. As a result, it was found that the position of Russian scientists on forecasting consumer behavior in the food market is similar to the theses of foreign economists. This common position is characterized by a complex content of material (subject), subjective, objective determinants with appropriate predictive tools, as well as a single goal to ensure a balance of consumer preference indicators when making such a forecast. The features of the presented determinants made it possible to identify the relevant tasks of the modern system of forecasting consumer preferences of food products, which differ in their material, subjective, objective nature and a single goal of forming and maintaining a balanced set of criteria for consumer preferences.
