THE IMPORTANCE OF LEASING IN THE CONTEXT OF ASSESSING THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF RUSSIAN TRANSPORT COMPANIES

The paper presents a methodology for assessing the financial well-being of a company based on a comprehensive test result. Thanks to the balanced assessment, the transport companies from road, rail, sea and air transportation were compared with each other. The paper reveals a systematic dependence of the efficiency of leasing use depending on the size of the company. Small companies, as well as the largest companies, do not receive comparative benefits from the use of leasing. On the contrary, medium-sized companies can be recommended to use leasing, since the results of the study showed its effectiveness.
