The article concerns the urgent problem of expanding cooperation within the BRICS countries in supplying material and technical inputs (fuel and energy resources, agricultural machinery, mineral fertilizers, pesticides, seeds) with the agricultural sector of the community. The demographic and economic indicators of the agricultural sector of the founding and new BRICS member countries are assessed. The data on production, consumption, foreign trade, and self-sufficiency in material and technical inputs important for the agricultural sector of the BRICS founding countries are presented. The priority areas of cooperation within the BRICS countries in agricultural sector resource supply are analyzed, including the use of applied information and communication technologies, improving resource efficiency, solving environmental problems and adapting to global climate change, developing a system for monitoring and certifying the quality of resources, and creating a favorable institutional environment. Using the example of relations between Russia and China, Russia and India, individual elements of the current state, limitations and potential of future cooperation in the resource supply of the agricultural sector are examined.
