"ONE BELT, ONE ROAD" AS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THE GREENING OF WINTER SPORTS: SINO-RUSSIAN COOPERATION

The article deals with the issues related to the study of the “One Belt, One Road” project as one of the global projects for the development of winter sports, which promote active Sino-Russian cooperation in modern conditions. The author of the article emphasizes the importance of the development of the sports industry to support international cooperation between Russia and China. The close relationship between the international initiative and winter sports is identified. The winter sports in which the Russian-Chinese side takes part are considered. The main problems that are obstacles to the development of international cooperation in the field of sports between Russia and China are studied. The main Russian-Chinese sports events are considered. The concept of “sports culture” is defined and its role in the life of society is considered. It is emphasized that the development of winter sports contributes to the strengthening and improvement of diplomacy between Russia and China. The prospects of winter sports development and international cooperation within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative are studied. Recommendations aimed at improving the effectiveness of Sino-Russian cooperation in the field of winter sports and its development are developed. The author of the article concludes that the initiative “One Belt, One Road” opens wide opportunities for the development of new types of winter sports, revealing the creative potential of participants and strengthening friendly and partnership relations between the two major countries.
