The relevance of the article is due to the need to understand and deeply comprehend the current state of the Russian economy and its further development prospects. As the main research tool, it is proposed to use the econometric method of constructing trends and their mathematical analysis based on the processing of statistical data. As a result, a significant equation for the dynamics of the relative growth of nominal wages was obtained. A very high correlation between investment in fixed assets and Russia's GDP was confirmed. Based on the econometric analysis of the constructed trend of the real wage index dynamics, a conclusion was made about the adequacy of the Central Bank's monetary policy in modern conditions.
