ISSUES OF REGULATION OF EXPORT STRUCTURE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NON-OIL SECTOR OF AZERBAIJAN

The article emphasizes the relationship between the production capabilities of the national economy and exports, as well as the importance of effective management of production capabilities and export potential. The analysis and approaches of various researchers on the development and participation in exports of the non-oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan, as well as the regulation of its development are included. A graphical representation of changes in non-oil and gas GDP and non-oil and gas exports in Azerbaijan over the past years is presented. The interaction between the indicators was studied. The ratio of imports and exports to GDP and the balance of foreign trade in the oil and gas and non-oil and gas sectors by years are analyzed. A 24-year structure of exports and imports by non-oil and gas product sectors, excluding the mineral fuel, lubricants and similar materials sector, is given, and the share of dominant sectors is calculated. The share of non-oil and gas sector products with high export and import rates for 2023 is calculated. Based on theoretical, statistical analysis and logical reasoning, the results were summarized and proposals were put forward.
