Marking of plural nouns in the Kadar language

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the formation of plural forms of nouns in the Kadar language (Dargin branch of the Nakh-Dagestan languages). The main attention is paid to the suffixal method of formation of pluralist forms. Plural indicators inherent only to this language are identified and described. The dependence of morphemes joining to words on the character of the original sound and the number of syllables in the word is also established. On the example of the formation of the plural form of a number of nouns, the influence of the Kumyk language relating to the Turkic languages on the qadar language in contact with it is shown.
