This paper discusses the specifics of using a fitness technician as part of a physical culture class with students. Given a detailed definition of fitness as a comprehensive program of recreational activities. The most popular fitness types of fitness among the Russian youth are listed: step aerobics, fitball aerobics; dance, power, classical aerobics, tai-bo, pilates and stretching.
The effect of Pilates and stretching as the most effective types of fitness aimed at preventing diseases and developing the musculoskeletal system has been studied in more detail. In particular, the strengths of each of them are noted. So, among the benefits of training on the Pilates system, the following are noted: universality, recovery effect, systematic development of muscles, the formation of a muscular system, the development of flexibility, the integration of the work of breathing, brain and muscles. The strengths of stretching are marked by the formation of correct posture, the prevention of possible spinal deformities, the development of elasticity of muscle mass, the improvement of motor coordination, and the improvement of efficiency and endurance.
The article also describes the characteristics of such types of stretching as ballistic, slow, statistical and PNF - stretching.
