In the context of socio-economic and educational reforms in Russian society, affecting all spheres of human life, additional education acquires special significance, ensuring the continuity and continuity of training, education and personality development.
The purpose of the article is to reveal the socio-cultural potential of additional education of children and young people and its implementation in the framework of the state program of creative development and education of the younger generation in the context of additional education. The article raises issues related to the participation of educational institutions of culture and art in the events and projects of organizations of additional education.
