Comparative characteristics of individual words of Abaza, Abkhazian, Kabardino-Circassian and Adyghe languages revealed: 1. phonetic affinity of separate words of Abaza and Abkhazian languages; 2. the same root basis of the four languages under consideration is distinguished in three languages (Abaza, Kabardino-Balkar and Adygeya), which is due to the territorial proximity of the peoples who speak these languages.
