Comparative analysis of education of military and patriotic values in various historical periods

The article provides a brief analysis of the concept of "values", their classification is carried out. And the essential characteristics of military-patriotic values are highlighted. The features of the education of military-patriotic values in pre-revolutionary Russia, Soviet times, in modern Russia are considered. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion about the declaration of patriotism as the main national idea of the revival and unification of Russian society.
