The image of the yurt in the linguistic picture of the world of Tuvinians

This article considers the artistic image of the yurt on the material of works of Tuvan writers and poets. The presence of this image in the context of the creative work of artists of words is not accidental and is determined by a specific historical reality. The image depicted in the structure of the yurt is the image of the universe and the study of the yurt’s image in the language picture of the world means a deeper study of the roots, traditional culture, worldview, mentality and psychology of the nomadic peoples of Asia. The yurt appears in works of fiction as a living organism. The works of Tuvan poets and writers highlight individual and author images and symbols related to the yurt: the mother’s yurt, the grandfather’s yurt, the hearth, the door, the threshold of the yurt, the bagan’s support pole, etc.
