Circumstances and dynamics of infant mortality in the city of Orenburg according to registers of births (1865-1910)

On the basis of data from registers of births, the author reveals the share of child deaths in the total mortality rate in Orenburg. The author reveals the main factors influencing the dynamics of the infant mortality rate: seasonal cycles, conditions of the urban environment, the dynamics of the birth rate.
