The article is devoted to the actual problem of spiritual and moral education of younger schoolchildren. The Federal State Educational Standard of Primary general Education has the task of educating and developing personality qualities that meet the tasks of building a Russian civil society. These tasks are based on the principles of respect for its multinational and multicultural composition. The implementation mechanism and requirements for tasks are determined by the state educational policy. They also guarantee the promotion of the education system according to the innovative development scenario. The implementation of the Federal State Educational Standard requires serious qualitative changes in the educational system from educational organizations based on the development, dissemination and development of new scientific and methodological approaches, programs, technologies, and the activation of innovative activities of the entire teaching staff.
The article presents the results of a study conducted to identify the level of formation of spiritual and moral education of younger schoolchildren in a multicultural environment.
