RELIGIOUS DENOMINATIONS OF KUZBASS 2ND HALF OF THE 20TH – EARLY 21ST CENTURIES

The article, based on the systematization of available information and archival sources, first introduced into scientific circulation, reveals patterns and features of the development of religious organizations in Kuzbass in the 1960 - early 2020s, characterizes the Soviet and post-Soviet stages of the history of religious confessions . It has been proven that the development process and current state of religious organizations in the region, the mechanisms of interaction between state authorities and local self-government with religious organizations, the forms of interfaith and interethnic interaction are determined by the historical experience of state-confessional relations and the traditions of interethnic and interreligious interaction that have developed in the region.
