Short–story fairy tales are a genre variety of household fairy tales in the folklore of the Dargins, one of the ethnic nationalities of the Republic of Dagestan. They are characterized by their ideological, thematic, compositional and other artistic features. They are distinguished by the relative development of the techniques of individualization of the folklore image, the desire to describe the appearance and characterization of the characters. The purpose of this article is to show by the method of philological and comparative historical analyses on the specific material of the artistic structure of a number of short–story fairy tales of the Dargins, which means of individualization of the image the narrator resorts to in describing and revealing the fairy-tale hero.
The subject of this study is the Darginian fairy tales as one of the most interesting genres of the fabulous epic, which has absorbed the age-old folk wisdom, talent, aspirations and expectations of the people. The object of the study is novelistic fairy tales, which reflect the artistic techniques of individualization of the image. The relevance of the problem under study is determined by the increased interest in the spiritual values of the past at the present stage of the development of folklore studies. Its novelty is expressed in the fact that it highlights this issue for the first time on the material introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.
