MODERN METHODS OF TEACHING ENGLISH

This article presents the main methods of teaching English that are currently relevant. The article notes the constant improvement of the methodology of teaching English. The basic components that must be observed when teaching English are highlighted. The main methods of teaching English today are presented, which include: direct method, grammar and translation method, audiovisual and audiolingual methods, communication method. The article discusses new technologies that help in teaching English in the classroom at schools and universities. The article includes the disadvantages of this method, as well as possible ways to correct them. Appropriate conclusions have been made regarding the article.
