COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY AS A FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF FOREIGN CITIZENS

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the organization of competitive activities as a factor in the development of intercultural communicative competence in learning Russian as a foreign language. The problem is considered by the example of the international competition "Enchanting to the Sight", which was created in line with the Concept of state support and promotion of the Russian language abroad and implemented within the framework of the state program of the Russian Federation "Development of Education" with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Holding such events is considered as an effective tool for the development of intercultural competence, as it involves addressing significant elements of Russian culture, as well as components of the culture of other peoples, which allows you to go beyond your national linguistic and cultural community and form the qualities of a cultural mediator.
