PERSONALITY AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF A HIGHER EDUCATION TEACHER

In this article, the concept of emotional intelligence of a higher school teacher is one of the main factors of self-realization and success in his professional activities. In this work, research methods such as analysis, synthesis, and generalization were used. The authors conclude that the use of personal qualities and emotional intelligence in foreign language lessons contributes to the quality of learning among university students. The communicative competence of a university teacher is one of the components of emotional intelligence.
