The publication deals with the compliance of some nominations with the requirements for the units of sublanguages of speciality languages. The relevance of the topic is conditioned by the necessity to use special units in the process of professional communication, the content and form of which are adequate to the requirements of terminology in order to accurately present information. The novelty of the research consists in describing the linguistic material of different spheres of professionally oriented communication. The aim of the publication is to describe the facts of compliance or non-compliance with the requirements to the units of the sublanguage of the speciality. The results of the research provide an opportunity for a critical attitude to the form and content of terminology in business practice and in publishing.
