JOKES ABOUT FOOLS AND SIMPLETONS IN THE FOLKLORE OF THE PEOPLES OF DAGESTAN: PLOTS AND IMAGES

Jokes about fools and simpletons are one of the thematic varieties of everyday jokes, which is characterized by its own characteristics, its genre specifics. Related to reality, jokes about fools and simpletons reflect the ethno-local specifics, the originality of comic techniques and means, humorously arranged situations that cause laughter. The purpose of this article is to consider the main plots, motives and images of jokes about fools and simpletons, the nature of the comic in them, to show their locally specific originality. The scientific novelty of this study lies in the fact that for the first time, based on the material of anecdotes of the peoples of Dagestan, the thematic cycle of anecdotes about fools and simpletons, their plot-thematic richness, main motives and images is thoroughly considered by the method of comparative historical and philological analysis.
