The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that it reveals the use of various types of repetitions in the poetic texts of M. Tlekhas.
The scientific novelty consists in the assessment of the role of repetitions of the Adyghe language from the point of view of their participation in the process of text formation and sense formation within the framework of a poetic text. One of the main functions of repetition in poetry is to enhance the emotional impact on the reader. The repetition of certain words, phrases, sounds, images or ideas creates an effect of intensity and tension, helps the poet to emphasize important points, create rhythm and harmony in the verse, making the text more expressive and memorable. To achieve this goal, the stylistic role and structural and semantic features of repetitions are revealed, as well as the linguists' approach to the classification of repetitions-reduplicates. The techniques of linguistic, semantic, and translation analysis of the text are used. The theoretical and practical significance lies in the fact that the results obtained contribute to the development of the general theory of Adyghe linguistics, and will also find a place in the compilation of various dictionaries on the language of fiction.
