The article focuses on the research of sentence connectors and diverse linguistic means expressing causation in German and, more specifically on their role in making cause and effective connections in sentences. The research analyses the cases of connectors in cause and effect sentences. The study shows that connectors are established by the recipient’s ratiocination.
