PERSONALIZED FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING BASED ON BIG DATA ANALYSIS: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

The article analyzes the key challenges and opportunities of personalized foreign language teaching based on big data analysis technologies in modern higher education. The purpose of the study is to determine the specific characteristics of the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies into linguodidactic processes. The research methodology is based on an integrated approach, including content analysis of scientific publications for the period 2020-2024, analysis of international experience in implementing adaptive educational systems, expert assessments and predictive analysis of the development of personalized language education. The results of the study demonstrate a significant increase in the effectiveness of the educational process when using personalized technologies: improved reading comprehension skills by 40%, increased writing accuracy by 34%, increased student motivation by 25% and accelerated material acquisition by 30%. Critical challenges have been identified, including ethical issues of protecting data privacy, geopolitical restrictions on access to advanced technologies, and the need to prepare teachers to work with technologically rich educational environments. The study reveals the potential for creating multi-level educational ecosystems that integrate psycholinguistic models with modern technologies for processing multimodal data. The practical significance of the work is determined by the possibility of using the results to develop strategies for implementing personalized educational trajectories in higher education institutions and to create methodological recommendations for the effective integration of big data technologies into language education.
