In order to determine the structural components and communicative tactics of storytelling used in motivational discourse, a study was conducted based on public speeches in Russian - open-access videos of various themes. The methods applied in the study include structural, discursive, and stylistic analysis. The research demonstrates how storytelling helps engage the audience by evoking emotional responses and a sense of involvement with the story being told. Key elements of effective storytelling were identified, such as a clear narrative structure (introduction, plot development, and conclusion), which facilitates comprehension and following the speaker's ideas. Particular attention is paid to the importance of using real characters and events in storytelling, which adds credibility and relevance and fosters trust in the speaker. It is concluded that storytelling not only conveys information but also stimulates reflection and discussion, developing critical thinking, creativity, and emotional intelligence in recipients. Successful motivational discourse can not only share knowledge but also inspire action, creating a strong connection between speaker and audience.
