THE ANTHROPOCENTRIC APPROACH IN TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

This article is devoted to the analysis of existing approaches to the study of the anthropocentric approach in teaching a foreign language, which recognizes the priority and defining role of a person as a native speaker of a particular culture, possessing individual and social experience, cognitive base and a system of knowledge and ideas about the world and the functioning of language. The purpose of the article is to show the effectiveness of the anthropocentric approach in teaching a foreign language. The authors prove that this principle must be taken into account in practical work when teaching a foreign language, and provide some practical recommendations for its application.
