information technologies and artificial intelligence largely determine the technological development of modern society and have a significant impact on its economy. Transformations in this area in our country are complicated by the sanctions policy of some technologically developed countries. Taking into account all the difficulties, the National Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence for the period until 2030 and the law “On the security of critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation” were adopted. April 7, 2025. These normative documents emphasized the role of education in training both in the field of AI and in the education system. The introduction of the discipline “Artificial Intelligence” in schools has determined the change of the content of education in the training of teachers by pedagogical universities. In this paper, based on the experience of informatization, it is proposed to consider AI as a fundamental scientific direction that determines teacher training primarily for teachers of mathematics and computer science and it is proposed to teach how to use and provide teachers with tools to create and use AI systems in their professional activities.
