the scientific article presents the results of a study of the practice of using artificial intelligence technology to improve educational processes in transport universities when students study foreign languages. The factors that act as a prerequisite for the adaptation of artificial intelligence to changes in language education in higher education institutions in Russia are considered. The subject of the study is the ethics and risks of using artificial intelligence technology in language education. In addition to the risks, the main benefits that students of transport universities receive when learning foreign languages are analyzed. The results of the article allow us to identify the main problems that arise when introducing artificial intelligence in transport universities in Russia. Despite the identified risks, the use of artificial intelligence technology remains a priority for improving language education in Russian transport universities.
