ANALYSIS OF SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VALUE OF CITIZENSHIP AMONG STUDENTS: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

The article reveals the essence of the concept of "citizenship", substantiates the need to develop the value of citizenship among modern students. In the materials of the publication, the author highlights the characteristic features of methodological approaches in the context of studying and developing the value of youth citizenship. The purpose of the article is to analyze scientific approaches regarding the development of the value of citizenship among students; to determine their theoretical foundations and practical application. The author of the article calls the development of critical thinking and communication skills, involvement in civic engagement, the formation of a responsible attitude towards their actions and deeds among young people, and compliance with social norms important components on the path to becoming a citizen among students. The practical application of scientific approaches is presented as the integration of relevant elements into the educational process, the creation of student organizations, conducting extracurricular activities and involving students in social projects.
