THE PROCESS OF HEROIZATION IN EPIC AND HISTORICAL NARRATIVES

The article analyses the process of heroization in epic and historical narratives. The process of heroization in epic discourse is represented by the main components of the epic plot: miraculous birth, heroic deeds and heroic death. The formation of an epic image is carried out through such linguistic means as hyperbole, epithet and comparative construction. In the historical narrative, the mechanism of heroization is represented by the transition from an immediate interpretant to a dynamic one, and then to a final interpretant reflecting the stabilization of the estimated value.
