THE SPECIFICS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS’ EMOTIONAL AND VOLITIONAL SPHERE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION IN A NON-LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITY

this article examines the specifics of the development of the students’ emotional and volitional sphere in the framework of learning a foreign language in a non-linguistic university. Attention is drawn to the role and specifics of the formation of students’ emotional and volitional sphere in the context of their achievement of personal and professional results, the role of foreign language education in the development of the emotional and volitional sphere of personality. The essence of the emotional-volitional sphere of personality in the age aspect is considered, its role in the effectiveness of the age crisis in adolescence and adolescence is emphasized. Within the framework of the stated problems, an experimental study was conducted, which indicates that the emotional and volitional sphere of students' personality, with negative manifestations of the age crisis, is unevenly developed, which affects their academic performance, the potential for personal and professional development. In order to offset the negative manifestations of the development of the emotional-volitional sphere, it is necessary to focus on the pedagogical support of students in the framework of foreign language education, which allows them to build complex volitional acts through semantic feedback, thereby developing self-regulation and self-control of the cognitive component of emotional-volitional qualities.
