This article is theoretical in nature and is aimed at analyzing the possibilities of using multi-context education in universities of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation. The article discusses the definitions of the concepts of "contextual" and "multicontextual learning," the methodological foundations of multicontextual learning, various approaches to classifying contexts recommended for use in higher education pedagogy. Special attention is paid to the description of the specifics of the professional training of future employees of the EMERCOM of the Russian Federation. Based on the requirements for employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation and the analysis of relevant pedagogical and psychological literature, a list of main contexts has been formed, which, from our point of view, is advisable to take into account in the process of training specialists of this department.
