The article presents the results of an experimental study of the manifestations of linguistic interference (LI) of the Chinese language in the Russian speech of Chinese students studying Russian as a foreign language (RFL) at levels A2-B1. Based on the analysis of audio and written works (n=75), the most typical phonetic, grammatical and lexical errors caused by the negative influence of the native language were identified and systematized. It was found that the key sources of interference are differences in phonological systems (the tone nature of Chinese vs. the prosodic system of Russian), the absence of grammatical categories of gender, case and verb aspect in Chinese, as well as differences in the methods of lexical compatibility and semantic fields. Based on the results of the study, specific methodological recommendations for RFL teachers were developed, aimed at preventing and overcoming interference errors in Chinese students, including a system of corrective exercises and contrastive analysis techniques. The results are of practical importance for optimizing the process of teaching RFL in the Chinese audience.
