FROM THE HISTORY OF THE FORMATION OF EUROPEAN ORGAN SCHOOLS OF PERFORMANCE AND PEDAGOGY

the article covers the process of formation, formation and development of organ musical mastery as a system of teaching organ performance. The role of the first organists from the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France, Germany and other countries is determined. Each of the designated schools had not only its own performers, but also pedagogical works on the study of issues of playing the organ and artistic performance of musical works. The article attaches great importance to the principle of following traditions and continuity of generations, an explanation of the concept of "school". The composing, performing, pedagogical art of figures of musical culture of the 16th - 18th centuries marked a new era in the history of organ performance and pedagogy.
