This paper presents a brief description of modern methods of prediction and meteorological weather forecasts using numerical methods and hydrodynamic models of the atmosphere. The practical significance of using numerical methods for predicting weather events is proved. Specific equations for determining the state of the atmosphere are presented. The article also provides diagrams of predictive grids in vertical, horizontal and three-dimensional representations and describes the differences between these models.
