Plasty of large and giant esophageal hernia of the diaphragm with biocarbon mesh implant

The article presents the immediate and long-term results of using a biocarbon double-layer mesh implant in the repair of large and giant hiatal hernia. The study involved 310 patients. Significant deviations were obtained from the operation of giant hernias and the basic problems were identified for further improvement of the surgical technique.
