The authors of the article consider the problem of choosing the tactics of surgical treatment of patients with anterior abdominal wall giant hernias. Various variants of non-tensioned hernioplasty, as well as the choice of tactics in patients with concomitant diseases, in children, were analyzed. As a result, it was concluded that the choice of tactics should be carried out on an individual basis, taking into account such factors as age, health status, etc.
